2018 GMC Yukon Changes, Price, Denali

Into its fourth generation of production, Yukon is a full sized SUV set be launched as 2018 GMC Yukon with design changes. GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe are two different sized SUV’s sold by GMC since the 1990s. Yukon refers to the Yukon Territory in Canada.

Sporting a bigger form:

New GMC Yukon 2018 has been being built on K2UG platform, the same platform used for Escalade and Suburban models and has a boxy square design. Also, on this platform will be building some 2018 Chevrolet trucks. The front and rear bumpers have been redesigned to give a bulkier look to the vehicle. Taillamps are also of a new make studded with LED lights along with a classier exhaust pipe.

The front grille has been enlarged to take up almost the entire façade.

18 or 19-inch alloy wheels are expected. Both rear wheel drive and all-wheel drive functions will be included.

2018 GMC Yukon – Interior and Gadgets

GMC SUVs are packed with the latest technologies and the best interior materials. The all new Yukon will feature a 7-inch touchscreen along with Intellilink infotainment service. It will include 4G LTE WI-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, satellite radio, smart navigation and an upgraded AC system.

The SUV’s Denali trim will have ventilated and heated front power seats.

2018 GMC Yukon – Under the Hood

The latest GMC Yukon has two different engines for different trims. Base trims will run on an 8-speed automatic transmission backed 5.3-litre V-8 engine. It promises 355 hp of power.

Yukon’s Denali trim will have a 6.2-litre V-8 420 hp engine. Sources expect an efficiency figure between 17 mpg and 24 mpg. Direct fuel injection and cylinder deactivation systems are key to the better fuel efficiency.

  • XL – $52,000
  • XL Denali – $70,000
