Mid-size pickup truck segment is experiencing a renaissance right now. Most of the truck manufacturers have at least of the kind in the offer, while some names like Ford’s Ranger are coming back home very soon.
These new circumstances have triggered an alarm in Nissan, so after more than 12 years of doing almost nothing, the manufacturer is getting ready to introduce a redesigned 2019 Nissan Frontier.
2019 Nissan Frontier Diesel Specs:
They officially announced the arrival of the new generation pickup truck for the next year. However, they didn’t want to reveal any additional information regarding the vehicle. Still, some reports indicate that the 2019 Frontier won’t get a new platform at all. Instead, the manufacturer will upgrade the existing. In addition, the truck should feature completely new options beneath the hood. There will be at least two gasoline mills and one oil-burner. While we have no idea which options will replace the existing 2.5-liter four-cylinder and 4.0-liter V-6 units, it’s quite clear that the diesel will wear the Cummins badge. More precisely, it’s going to be a 2.8-liter mill, which is able to deliver up to 220 hp and 380 pound-feet of torque.

2019 Nissan Frontier Diesel Release Date and Price:
Styling wise, the new generation Nissan Frontier will almost definitely get most of the new cues from its European sibling. Yes, we expect the Navara-looking truck with the latest technologies and new safety suite.
Unofficially, the 2019 Frontier will keep its price almost unchanged, which means that the potential buyers have to have around $20k for the base model. The production will stay at Nissan’s plant in Canton, Mississippi.
When it comes to its release date, we are expecting that this very popular Nissan mid-size truck will be launched in the first half of 2018.
